This week we continue with:

Road to Revolution

We will learn why Samuel Adams, in my opinion, earns the title "Father of the Revolution"

 James Otis the first to call out England on their violation of colonist's rights as British citizens

"No taxation without representation"

Did colonists have a right to disobey Parliament's laws? If so on what grounds?
England's disrespect leads to the forming of a group who is willing to stand up for their rights and of no surprise the Bostonian rebel Samuel Adams is at center of it all..

Parliaments passing of the Quartering Act only pushes colonists to resent mother.
Presence of British soldiers leads to a clash "Boston Massacre" March 5, 1770

With all the drama unfolding, it was necessary to create a committee who's responsibility would be to inform the entire colonies of events taking place up north.

Colonial Era: Life in the colonies

This week we will begin learning about how the 13 colonies were grouped into three regions based on common characteristics. Both geography and climate played a key role in determining the economic activity of the people living in the region. And although all were English colonies students will learn how people will create a "new" american culture/society based on their own from mother land.
