-Victory for England
-Who was King George III?
-What was the aftermath of the so-called "first world war"
-Were colonists in the right in reacting to Parliaments handling of war debt and the obtaining of new territory?

Week of October 3-7, 2016

This week marks the beginning of the 2nd six weeks!! Begin with the end in mind!!
I am very proud of all your hard work and efforts in the 1st six weeks lets continue with the same mindset!
This week in class we will review six weeks exam and continue class discussion on the Enlightenment period and its impact on the world and the First Great Awakening in the American Colonies.

Thomas Hobbes, John Locke, Montesqui, Rousseau and Voltaire

We will also begin a unit 3 American Revolution Part I Road to Independence

-war breaks out/French and Indian War

American colonist, unable to devise a plan to win their dispute with French colonists, awaken mother country only to lead them to unforeseen relations that American colonists were not used to.

Week of September 26-30, 2016

This week marks the end of the 1st Six Weeks...time is going by as always so fast!!

Monday we will learn about the Enlightenment Period that influenced individuals that contributed to the creation of the United States



Tuesday continue with Enlightenment

Wednesday we will review both units covered.

Thursday we will take the first six weeks exam

This week we continue with English Colonization by discussing the rest of the 13 English colonies, why, where, when they were founded.
Why does it matter?
